Renè, la mamma di Andrew Howe, dice grazie a Rieti: “Colpita da un ictus, mi siete stati vicini. Vi amo”

Riceviamo e pubblichiamo la lettera di René Felton Besozzi, madre ed ex allenatrice di Andrew Howe, di cui RietiLife ha parlato recentemente per un grave problema di salute che l’ha colpita, un ictus. Felton ha deciso di scrivere ai reatini con una lettera in inglese e in italiano. Eccola di seguito.

Dear Rieti,

This is my love Letter to you all, to “Thank you” for ALL THE LOVE and Prayers each of you sent me way, in my darkest event of my life, a stroke.

As I laid there in my bed, unable to move, hearing from Andrew that all of Rieti was praying for me, I could only cry from so much emotional energy coming my way.

When I was released from the hospital, and began to move around in the city of Rieti, everywhere I went, I was constantly greeted with Love and well wishes.

It is an everyday battle, to get back to the physical body I had before the stroke, but I AM getting there.

And I have you, dear Rieti to Thank. Prayer is a powerful energy.  When many are united for a common goal, all that unity together can have a positive outcome, I felt that energy everywhere I would go here in Rieti.

I am moved to tears when ever a total stranger who read the story, stops to give me a hug and send me the love they have for me and my son Andrew for all that we have given to this city and country.

I heal everyday I walk through the streets of Rieti absorbing the love that is in the air for me.

I love you too, dear Rieti for all that you are.  I have traveled the world, and when I return home, I feel this energy that does not exist anywhere else.

I have brought many American athletes, and Hollywood Stunt professionals here for healing of various performance injuries.  All of them have said the same thing, “The water, the food, the air, the people are amazing “.  Yes, Rieti people are amazing.

I Thank you all for the love you all have given me.

Cara Rieti,

Questa è la mia lettera d’amore per tutti voi, per “Grazie” per TUTTO L’AMORE e le Preghiere che ognuno di voi mi ha inviato, nel mio evento più buio della mia vita, un ictus.

Mentre giacevo lì nel mio letto, incapace di muovermi, sentendo da Andrew che tutta Rieti stava pregando per me, non potevo fare a meno di piangere per tutta l’energia emotiva che mi stava arrivando.

Quando sono stata dimessa dall’ospedale e ho iniziato a muovermi nella città di Rieti, ovunque andassi, venivo costantemente accolta con Amore e auguri.

È una battaglia quotidiana, tornare al corpo fisico che avevo prima dell’ictus, ma ci STO arrivando.

E ho te, cara Rieti, da ringraziare. La preghiera è un’energia potente. Quando molti sono uniti per un obiettivo comune, tutta quell’unità insieme può avere un esito positivo, ho sentito quell’energia ovunque andassi qui a Rieti.

Mi commuovo fino alle lacrime quando un perfetto sconosciuto che ha letto la storia si ferma per abbracciarmi e trasmettermi l’amore che ha per me e mio figlio Andrew per tutto ciò che abbiamo dato a questa città e a questo paese.

Guarisco ogni giorno, cammino per le strade di Rieti assorbendo l’amore che c’è nell’aria per me.

Ti amo anch’io, cara Rieti per tutto ciò che sei. Ho viaggiato per il mondo e quando torno a casa, sento questa energia che non esiste da nessun’altra parte.

Ho portato qui molti atleti americani e stuntman professionisti di Hollywood per la guarigione di vari infortuni da prestazione. Tutti hanno detto la stessa cosa: “L’acqua, il cibo, l’aria, le persone sono incredibili”. Sì, le persone di Rieti sono incredibili.

Vi ringrazio tutti per l’amore che mi avete dato.

Grazie a tutti coloro che hanno donato al GoFundMe che mio figlio Jeremy ha creato per me.

Mi sta aiutando a sbarcare il lunario mentre riacquisto la capacità di aiutare gli altri come facevo una volta, e come farò di nuovo
